This project is an adaptive reuse of a former church and fellowship hall into 12 dwelling units which had been vacant for 25 years. This project was the award recipient of local CHAP, Maryland Historic Trust as well as Department of the Interior Federal historic tax credits. A complete restoration of the historic roof framing was required prior to reimagining the former assembly space into 12 dwelling units while retaining the main sanctuary volume for future generations to experience.
